Jihan Muhammad Hashimeh(35) was wounded after being shot by Israel’s occupation soldiers at the Qalandiya checkpoint between Ramallah and Jerusalem in the central occupied West Bank, for allegedly ‘attempting to stab Israeli’ soldiers Friday morning
Hashimeh, from al-Issawiya village on the outskirts of occupied East Jerusalem was on her way to a medical treatment.
She lay almost an hour on the ground bleeding while Israel’s occupation forces stopped aid from reaching her. It was a blatant attempt to kill her.
Israeli occupation has made the standard “walked with a knife in hand” claim as in the all recent killings and woundings at Qalandia checkpoint, and like in those cases, it seems that all she did in reality was to walk on a lane reserved for vehicle traffic.
