BUDRUS RESISTS ISRAELI OCCUPATION FORCES, STOPS HOME DEMOLITION

Israel’s occupation forces invaded the village of Budrus in the West Bank district of Ramallah on Friday January 4th to destroy a house which was being build by Issa Mohammed.
 
The destruction of the house was among acts of collective punishments Israeli occupation had announced, claiming as an excuse that youths from the village had ‘assaulted’ occupation soldiers and cut barbed wire the occupation had put up.
 
Two youths were wounded during the invasion, which culminated in a three hour siege at Issa Mohammed’s building site, where villagers moved in to the unfinished house to stop it from bring demolished.
 
After three hours Israel’s occupation forces withdrew, but they are likely to return seen.
