On March 30, 1976 Palestinians marched against the expropriation of land by Israël. During one of those marches six Palestinians were killed. From that day forward March 30 has been an annual day of commemoration, ‘Land day’, for Palestinians and supporters all over the world. This day emphasizes the right of the Palestinians to live freely in their own country and to resist injustice. It is also a celebration of the Palestinian culture.
