EVENT: ‘ACCOUNTABILITY AND HUMAN RIGHTS AT 50 YEARS OF OCCUPATION’ ON TUESDAY JUNE 13TH IN LONDON

Michael Lynk, UN Special Rapporteur for human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory, in conversation with Sir Geoffrey Bindman QC, followed by a Q & A and reception.

The event starts at 7.00pm (doors open from 6:45pm).
The human rights landscape for Palestinians is in deepening crisis as this June marks 50 years of Israel’s military occupation.

The cumulative impact of half a century of dispossession, violence, barriers to healthcare and violations of international human rights and humanitarian law is exacerbated by the absence of legal accountability.

MAP, LPHR and Amnesty International United Kingdom Section are honoured to host two eminent experts to examine the international context and assess what can be done by relevant actors and civil society.”
