Last night Israel’s occupation forces shot and killed Iyad Munir Arafat Ghaith(aged 23 or 26) in the occupied West Bank’s Hebron. According to an autopsy, he was shot several times at his upper body, bullets fracturing his skull and leading to a quick death.
Israeli occupation claims that it’s occupation forces soldiers wearing civilian clothes (in contravention to law of war) would have been ‘searching for weapons’ while they would have been supposedly shot at by Ghaith.
As usual, according to Israeli occupation version, although supposedly caught surprised and fired at first, the occupation forces would have not suffered any injuries, but would have shot back and killed Ghaith.
As supposed ‘evidence’, Israeli occupation gave out photographs of a self-made sub machine gun very rarely encountered in the occupied territories outside scenes of Palestinians killed by Israel.
In our humble view, the presence of this type of self-made sub-machine gun tends to be a sign that it has been planted, especially as there is never any bullet shells beside the weapon. This is the case also in Ghaith’s killing.
There is also evidence that Ghaith was inside his car when shot at and the weapon has been photographed on the ground, away from the car.
