IPNOT PICTURE OF THE DAY from June 28th 2017: BI’LIN ATTACKED

Late on Wednesday June 28th Israel’s occupation forces invaded the village of Bi’lin on the occupied West Bank.

Bi’lin is one of the centres of local grassroots resistance to Israeli occupation and the illegal Israeli Wall and faces regular invasions; last night’s was – as often – apparently intended only to intimidate.

No one was kidnapped, but Israeli occupation fired tear gas and shot rubber-coated steel bullets, wounding two teenagers, Hamza al-Khatib(18) and Mohammed Burnat(15), the latter a son of the leader of the local Popular Committee Against the Wall.
