ISRAELI OCCUPATION SENTENCES TEENAGER TO 12 YEARS IN PRISON

Israel’s occupation court has convicted teenager Amar Jandab to 12 years in prison for ‘lightly injuring’ Israel’s occupation forces’ soldier with a screwdriver on May 30th 2016 in Tel Aviv.

Amar Jandab – identified as Omar Abboushi then – was 17 at the time. He is from the Salfit district in the occupied West Bank.

Jandab was also ordered to pay $ 11 410 to the occupation soldier – the sentence as a whole a manifestation of the deeply ingrained belief in Israel that serving a brutal occupation in a military uniform should be utterly safe.

We can compare this to the sentence Israel’s occupation forces’ soldier Elor Azaria got for murdering wounded and helpless Abdelfattah al-Sharif in Hebron: 18 months, which as been postponed as attempts to pardon him are ongoing.
