The condition of political prisoner Ahmed Zahran(42) has declined after 78 days on hunger-strike and on today, Monday December 9th, it was reported that he has been moved to a civilian hospital, the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot, by his Israeli occupation captors.
Zahran has been imprisoned since March without charge or trial and won an earlier 39-day-long hunger-strike, coming to an agreement with Israeli occupation on his release, but as Israel’s regime broke the agreement, he started a new hunger-strike.
The father of four from the village Deir Abu Mishaal on the occupied West Bank has been imprisoned for a total of 15 years by Israel. He is a member of the left-wing Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
On Sunday December 8th his fellow political prisoner and hunger-striker Musab al-Hindi(29) won his own 75-day-long hunger-strike when Israeli occupation agreed to set a date for his release.
The resident of the occupied West Bank village of Tell will be released after four more months of captivity without charge or trial. He has been imprisoned for a total of 11 years by Israeli occupation, 7 of them without charge or trial.
