Our daily picture from Monday March 6th shows a new graffiti commemorating Basil al-Araj in the Jalazone refugee camp on the occupied West Bank.
Al-Araj was killed earlier on the same day in al-Birej by Israel’s occupation forces after a two-hour gunfight, after he had run out of ammunition. Israeli occupation had been searching for him since last September, claiming that he was part of a supposed cell planning an attack against the occupation targets.
A crude translation of the text: “Beware of natural death, and do not die except between volleys [of bullets].”
