ONE DEAD, TWO WOUNDED AFTER ATTACK AT ISRAEL’S EMBASSY IN AMMAN

A Jordanian teenager has been killed and two people have been wounded in an incident at Israel’s embassy in Jordan’s capital Amman on Sunday evening. One of the wounded is said to be an adult Israeli male, whose condition is described as ‘critical’, ‘serious’ and ‘unstable’.
 .
Some sources speak of a shooting, some of ‘shoot-out’, one claims what happened was a stabbing targeting an Israeli man – whether embassy staff or not is unknown to us at this point – and that the alleged attacker was then shot dead.
 .
The alleged attacker is claimed to have been teenager Muhammad Zakaria al-Jawawdeh(17), who worked for a furniture company. Jordanian security forces are searching his car, which was left on the scene.
.
The second wounded man is said to have been the supposed attacker’s co-worker. Whether he participated in the incident, is unknown at this point.
 .
Israel is claimed to be evacuating the staff of its embassy – which is said to be under lockdown – and has ordered a media blackout on the incident’s details, with also foreign accredited journalists banned from reporting about it, according to Israel’s Foreign Affairs ministry’s spokesman.
